Jul 26, 2020 · On July 2, 1969, the healthy, perpetually physically fit “Iron” Mike suffered a heart attack while performing a match and, tragically, died in the ring. Ted Dibiase was just fifteen years old when his father passed away and, understandably, the death was a major blow to his family.
On this day in 1969, I lost my dad and wrestling legend Iron Mike DiBiase. 52 years later and he is still one of the greatest influences in my life.
