300 is a pretty good graphic novel whose visual style is captured in the movie. GoF is one of the finer pieces of historical fiction I have ever read. Pressfield weaves the story so tightly and beautifully, tying the threads of history and fiction together to the point you don't know which is which. The characters are unforgettable, the book sings.

Opinions on "300" Discussion. Ok so I rewatched 300 a couple months ago for the first time in id say 10 years and i want to know others opinions on it. I personally love the movie. Its over the top, exaggerated, and drips of pure testosterone, and i love it for that.
The action is well choreographed and it's a lot easier to follow. On a visual scale, it is amazing. Even though the actors chew their scenes, and no one chews their scenes more than Gerard Butler, I find that funny and enjoyable. Even the narration is straight out of the graphic novel and it works.
