This is what I do. Work a full time day walker job M-F from 7 to 4 then cover at the restaurant bar Monday nights from 5 to 10, Fri nights 5 to 11, Sat morning 930 to 4 and Sunday 930 to 4.

Find places near you that you enjoy, and start to try to get a job there first. Don’t take a job in an establishment you personally do not enjoy, because chances are you will not enjoy working there. Keep in mind that you’re looking at starting in the “slow” season for a lot of areas at least.
