   I love this show. It’s an movie-level production with an ensemble cast. Slow burn plots that pay off well. Unmatched sets and sounds that immerse you in the time period like few shows can. It’s weakness was rushing towards the end (showrunner wrapped it up to do Vinyl lol).

   • It doesn't seem to be remembered much. Overall I recently rewatched it and still enjoyed it a lot I still think it was a mistake to kill off Jimmy, he was the most compelling character overall. Still S3 (especially) and S4 were great seasons even without him, only S5 felt messy and rushed.

   • Thought-provoking, violent, and filled with lush period detail, Boardwalk Empire is a gangster drama of uncommon depth and scope. God knows I love Buscemi but so far the best compliment I can give his performance is über-competent. His Nucky does not, like Al Swearengen or Tony Soprano, leap off the screen.
