Turns out it kind of does work... but it's not any good. So I decided to play around with it and see if it could be a redeemable spell to use at higher levels. First, I went there with Chaos Gauntlets to see if the damage would stack to hit 1 point higher than it's normal max hit.
Crumble Undead is a unique combat spell found in the standard spellbook. Requiring only 39 Magic, it's capable of hitting 16 against undead enemies such as zombies, skeletons, ghosts, shades, and so on.
Scaling on combat level of the target would probably make crumble undead the best way to level magic at low levels assuming there's some decent targets for it.
Jun 7, 2007 · It depends on what you mean when you say "better". If you mean "Get the most F2P magic exp per cast" then Crumble Undead is best. CU averages about 39 per cast but Fire bolt averages about 34 per cast. If you mean "Hits the hardest" then CU is best. CU max at about 15, FB max at about 12.
Unironically casting crumble undead and I'm having a blast. You should try casting it ironically. Ironic. Get the skull scepter and you can auto cast crumble undead with it. Yeah but that costs 21k and you need 55 slayer to weild it. Skull scepter takes a while to get but is probably faster than 55 slayer.
