   Yes, it is incredible. It has a great mix of humor and action. It starts as a "problem of the week" type show while doing some character development, but becomes serialized about half way through Season 1. After that, the seasons range from good to incredible and it finishes very strong. Stick with it.

   Absolutely. Justified is my favorite show, although I don't think it's for everyone. I could talk for a while about what makes it great, but in simplest terms I would say this: in terms of shows driven by characters and dialogue, Justified is the best without question.

   In my opinion Justified is the best TV show of all time. I got hooked since the first scene. Incredibly well writing. Great character development. All characters are interesting and contribute to the story. And have some of the best dialogues I've seen in any TV show or even movie. I simply love it.

   Why is justified a good movie?

   • Justified is at it's best when it's a bunch of criminals scheming against one another (which Boyd is always in the middle of) and Raylan just shows up and screws up all their plans. Except for Boyd because he's the only one that expects Raylan to show up and incorporates that into his schemes.

   • It's really hard to describe in just a Reddit post, but the world of Justified's Harlan is a hugely diverse one with complicated characters and few real clear good or bad guys. As other's have said and implied in this thread, as the show goes on you tend to watch more for the antagonists than for the protagonist himself.

   Is the shield a good show?

   • The Shield is probably the only other show to hold that honor. Throw on top of it that it's the series I fell in love with Walton who is one of my favorite actors right now, this is an amazing show. It's "The Wire" level of good to me. My favorite part of the early series. Literally true. A guy in my town was jailed for not liking this show.

   Justified has got to be one of the most criminally underrated shows I've ever seen. It had superb writing, fantastic acting (particularly from Timothy Olyphant and Walton Goggins, but really the entire cast was great), was well-paced, and never outstayed its welcome on the air.
