I saw this movie for the first time yesterday after only seeing clips on YouTube and it is one of my favourite comedies of the last decade. Sacha is amazing in the lead role and he definitely carries the film along with Jason Manazotukas (who is great on Parks and Rec).
Although the movie very casually follows the progress of the romance and the assassination scheme, Cohen and the director, Larry Charles, are about as dedicated to plot as the Marx Brothers; the movie’s spiritual ancestor is “ Duck Soup ” and Groucho’s Freedonian dictator Rufus T. Firefly.

Grimsby is terrible but very funny, The Dictator is just straight garbage. Borat 2 is pretty good. Borat and Bruno are amazing. Who Is America is a masterpiece.
