Jean-Paul Cabana from Saint-Hyacinthe, Quebec, is a Canadian race car driver. He is considered the King of Stock Car Racing in Quebec and was inducted into the Canadian Motorsport Hall of Fame in 2001 and into the New England Auto Racers Hall of Fame in 2007.

In his native Quebec Jean-Paul Cabana is known as the “King of Stock Car Racing.” It’s no wonder why. In a racing career that spanned 40 years (1954-1994) he won more than 500 features at too many tracks to mention.
Cabana was the inaugural champion of the Northern NASCAR Circuit in 1972. He remained one of the stars in the NASCAR North Tour from 1979-1985. He scored 5 wins each in 1981 and 1982, then a 6-win season in 1984.
