  2. Dr. John Hoberg is a professor in the Department of Chemistry. The Hoberg group is involved in the photocatalyzed conversion of water to oxygen and hydrogen via the use of binuclear metal hydrides. We design and prepare binucleating organic ligands that force the close approach of the metal catalysts to promote hydrogen more efficiently than ...

  4. The Hoberg group focuses on the design, synthesis and characterization of 2D Covalent Organic Frameworks (COFs) in collaboration with Professor Bruce Parkinson. COFs are honeycomb like structures that are constructed from small building blocks via covalent linkages to produce highly ordered, porous structures.
