Kenne Duncan (February 17, 1903 – February 5, 1972) was a Canadian-born American B-movie character actor. Hyped professionally as "The Meanest Man in the Movies," the vast majority of his over 250 appearances on camera were Westerns, but he also did occasional forays into horror, crime drama, and science fiction.
Kenne Duncan was born on 17 February 1902 in Chatham, Ontario, Canada. He was an actor and writer, known for Night of the Ghouls (1959), Manhunt of Mystery Island (1945) and The Astounding She-Monster (1957). He died on 5 February 1972 in Hollywood, California, USA.

The fine folks over at Bob’s Blitz came across something interesting today when they noticed that SportsCenter host Elle Duncan was wearing a mildly short skirt / dress. No big deal, right? Well, apparently it might have been.

Although Kenne Duncan has been gone for many years, he’s left us with many lasting character portrayals from his hundreds of serials. Chances are, when you’re watching that next serial or western, you’ll see the familiar face of Kenne Duncan!
Incidentally, that trick shooting act was filmed and released circa 1949 as “The Face”, a 10 minute color short directed by the notorious Ed Wood, for whom Duncan did many films late in his career. Kenne’s best friend over the years was Roy Barcroft.
