Kotoko is a 2011 Japanese film by director Shinya Tsukamoto. It is based on an original story by J-pop artist Cocco, who stars in the film alongside Tsukamoto. Plot. A single mother, Kotoko (Cocco), struggles to care for her infant son, Daijiro, while suffering from double vision.
She loses custody of her baby son when her mental illness becomes a danger to him, and later develops a disturbing relationship with a novelist who lives nearby. Cocco, a singer-songwriter who plays Kotoko, is absolutely incredible in this role.
