It offers stunning views of the Golden Gate Bridge, the Marin Headlands, and the city skyline. It is a rocky and windswept shoreline at the mouth of the Golden Gate, situated between the Sutro District and Lincoln Park and abutting Fort Miley Military Reservation. If you do all of the stops suggested below, it you will cover ~4.5 miles and it will take 2.5-3 hours. This is a loop trail so you can start and end at nearly any point on the hike.
