Loon Lake Campground has 38 campsites adjacent to the day-use area and near the beach. Campsites can accommodate RVs, trailers, and tents. Four group sites are simply double sites which can accommodate 12 people. Five campsites are walk-in, tent-only sites.
Loon Lake Recreation Area has a small campground, East Shore Recreation Site, located one mile east of the main Loon Lake Area. There are six shady campsites, including one that is universally accessible.
