Established on Carabella Street in 1908, Loreto Kirribilli is part of a national and international network of schools and other social justice organisations that have been shaped by the Loreto charism through the IBVM Sisters.

Jan 22, 2024 · At Loreto Kirribilli, we have a saying, ‘Honouring the past, celebrating the present, inspiring the future’. We honour the people of the Cammeraygal clan who lived, fished and canoed around the spot they called ‘kiarabilli’, meaning ‘good fishing spot’.

Loreto, under her leadership, instils in them the capacity to flourish in a world that will undoubtedly be vastly different to the one we know now.
Our beautiful new Spiritus building is the first stage of our 50-year Master Plan for Loreto Kirribilli, which calls for dynamic, versatile learning spaces designed to foster collaboration, creative and critical thinking, communication and enhanced transdisciplinary learning experiences.
