   • I have watched closed to 200 titles in 2017 and, therefore, I can attest that Atlee's Mersal is the most ridiculous 160-minute yet super-fast-paced genre and logic bender that I have seen all year, the appeal of which is only aggravated by lead actor Vijay's and his co-actors' obnoxious over-acting, all in the name of pretentious social message.
