Mesa Airlines operates a large fleet of regional jets and narrow-body aircraft on behalf of our partner United Airlines. We fly the CRJ-900 and the Embraer E175 as United Express. Our partner sells the tickets but we provide the aircraft, crew, and maintenance.
Mesa Airlines later announced an agreement with United Airlines to add 18 Embraer 175 aircraft to Mesa's United Express fleet. Mesa will operate 48 Embraer aircraft for United Airlines. In October, the company announced an agreement for the addition of 15 new aircraft scheduled for delivery in 2016, which has now increased to 18.

Dec 30, 2022 · Mesa Air has agreed to a new deal with United Airlines as it plans to become exclusively linked to the carrier's passenger operations from next year. The agreement will see the full-service carrier provide $41.2 million in financial backing, as well as another $80 million to cover extra engines.
