Aug 11, 2022 · To honor his many personal and familial connections to libraries and reading, Michael Wormser '59 has documented planned gifts to Colby to establish the Michael and Eugenia Wormser Director of the Colby Libraries Fund.
The Wormser Reading Room (formerly the President’s Room) was dedicated in 2009 to Eugenia Hall Wormser, Colby Class of 1960, by her husband, Michael Wormser, Colby Class of 1959. Mrs. Wormser majored in English literature.
The Provost serves as chief academic officer, leading and advocating for the faculty and staff as they carry out the teaching and research mission of the College.
