The following statewide assessments will be administered in the 2020-2021 school year: Florida Standards Assessments (FSA): grades 3–10 English Language Arts (ELA); grade 10 ELA Retake; grades 3–8 Mathematics; and Algebra 1 (including Retake) and Geometry EOC assessments. Statewide Science Assessment: grades 5 and 8.

Beginning with the 2019-2020 school year, a student must successfully complete one-half credit in economics in order to satisfy, in part, the social studies credit requirements for receipt of a standard diploma (s. 1003.4282(3)(d), F.S.). Courses that meet the economics requirement are available in the 2020-2021 CCD.

  7. Online Course Graduation Requirement. Florida Statute 1003.428 (2)(a) requires of high school students who entered grade nine in 2011-12 and thereafter, that at least “one full course,” included in the 24 credits required for graduation, be successfully completed in an online environment.
