Areas of mathematics include arithmetic, algebra, geometry, calculus, and various other theoretical and applied subjects. Students take mathematics courses to prepare for a mathematics major, to meet prerequisites in related disciplines, or to fulfill general education requirements.

How to Browse Course Catalog. At the SURF home webpage, select the LOG IN TO SURF button. Enter your SURF ID and Password on the MiraCosta College Login prompt. Select the Sign In button. At the Student Center screen, select the Manage Classes tile. On the left pane select Browse Course Catalog.
