Our beautiful, heated eight-lane, 25-yard fitness pool is home to lap swimmers, aqua aerobics classes, swim teams, water exercise, swim lessons and open swim. Depth ranges from 4′ to 6′ feet. The Nebraska Street facility was home to the Siouxland Y for more than 50 years, but as the facility aged and the community needs changed, the now Norm Waitt Sr. YMCA broke ground on a new facility just across the Missouri River in Scenic Park, South Sioux City, Nebraska.
The Norm Waitt Sr. YMCA (NWSY) has been serving the heart of Siouxland, a tri-state area of Nebraska, Iowa, and South Dakota, for more than 135 years with The Mighty Missouri in its backyard.
