Over Her Dead Body is a 2008 American romantic comedy film starring Eva Longoria, Paul Rudd, Lake Bell, Lindsay Sloane and Jason Biggs. It was written and directed by Jeff Lowell. The film is about Kate (Eva Longoria), who dies on the day of her wedding to fiancé Henry (Paul Rudd).
Lau in particular is remarkable. His character Leung is sleeping with his supervisor’s estranged wife, and is the most honest of his team. When their greed threatens to put them both in prison, he is reluctantly dragged into their conspiracy out of loyalty and friendship. Lau plays conflicted emotions brilliantly.
Johnny is the lone holdout, a righteous cop who nevertheless has his own moral quandary; he's dating Mandy (Zhang Jingchu), the estranged wife of his cop buddy Kelvin (Alex Fong Chung-Sun). Johnny too is not squeaky clean morally too, as he's having affair with his best friend (Alex Fong) and colleague's wife Mandy (Zhang Jingchu). And in one key scene late in the film, we see how deeply corrupt he can be through the shift of blame, especially when required to save his own skin.
