Most thru-hikers travel north to south, but the route works in either direction.

Enjoy this 13.0-mile point-to-point trail near Arcadia, Missouri. Generally considered a challenging route. This is a popular trail for backpacking, camping, and hiking, but you can still enjoy some solitude during quieter times of day. The trail is open year-round and is beautiful to visit anytime.
