One of the ideas for the second Pirates of the Caribbean film featured Barbossa's daughter seeking revenge for the death of her father at Isla de Muerta. However, the Dead Man's Chest script was chosen instead and the idea of Barbossa's daughter ended up in Dead Men Tell No Tales.
