The Pittock Mansion is a French Renaissance -style château in the West Hills of Portland, Oregon, United States. It was built in 1914 as a private home for London -born Oregonian publisher Henry Pittock and his wife, Georgiana Burton Pittock.

PORTLAND’S HOUSE ON THE HILL. Pittock Mansion is a 16,000 square foot French Renaissance style home. It was designed by architect Edward T. Foulkes who trained at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and the French École des Beaux-Arts.
Once the private home of the Portland pioneer Pittock family, this 22-room house was designed by architect Edward Foulkes and completed in 1914. The mansion sits 1,000 feet above sea level on 46 acres and commands a view of five mountains in the Cascade Range.
