The farmers need to have an Aadhaar card to avail the benefits of the PM-Kisan scheme. The farmers cannot enroll or register themselves as beneficiaries under the PM-Kisan scheme if they do have an Aadhaar card. The installment is released only on the basis of the Aadhaar seeded database.
