How it Works. Join the Fuel Rewards program and get a Fuel Rewards card or Alt ID. Visit a participating Shell station and swipe your Fuel Rewards card or enter your Alt ID. You’ll save at least 5¢/gal with Gold Status. Your 5¢/gal reward for Gold Status will stack with any other rewards in your Fuel Rewards account.
