The Unofficial Skyrim Patch, version 2.0.5, fixes this bug. If you went and worked on something else prior to finishing this quest, when you go to restart it and select the quest again the map marker doesn't show up anywhere or on the map. If you fast travel back to Mzulft and go inside the doors the marker will come back.
