    Roberta "Robbie" Brenner is an American Academy Award-nominated producer and film executive with over 2 decades of industry experience who is currently the head, Executive Vice President and executive producer of Mattel's newest and latest film division incarnation, Mattel Films.     She joined a local production company in Los Angeles known as The Firm. She was a producer of Davis Entertainment from 2007 until 2009.

    In 2009, she joined Relativity Media as Executive Vice President of Production and was integral to the studio's acquisition of the Sundance documentary Catfish, which became a cultural sensation. She was promoted to President in 2011 and oversaw movies such as Immortals, Safe Haven, Mirror, Mirror, Out of the Furnace, The Fighter, and many more.

    Brenner worked at the now-defunct Miramax for 9 years and 2 years at the former 20th Century Fox overseeing and shepherding movies, from production to distribution and marketing.

    In 2013 she produced Dallas Buyers Club, which starred Matthew McConaughey, Jared Leto and Jennifer Garner and earned Brenner an Academy Award nomination for Best Picture.

    Prior to joining Mattel, Brenner produced the independent film Burden, directed and written by first-time filmmaker Andrew Heckler and starring Garret Hedlund, Forest Whitaker, and Andrea Riseborough, which was premiered at the 2018 Sundance Film Festival and won the U.S. Dramatic Audience Award that year.

    In 2021, Brenner produced the supernatural romance feature known as "The In Between" starring Joey King and Kyle Allen for Paramount+ and women’s rights drama feature Call Jane directed by Academy Award-nominated writer Phyllis Nagy and starring Elizabeth Banks and Sigourney Weaver.

    She entered the New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts in 1989 and graduated with a film degree in 2003 and a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences Executive Branch.

    Robbie is Jewish by birth and has been married to her Jewish soulmate Aaron Sanor since 7 January 2005, after dating him for a year prior, with whom she has a child.
