The Ramat Gan Safari is located on 250 acres of nature in the city of Ramat Gan, ironically in the middle of a densely populated urban area in Israel. It is home to the largest animal collection in the entire Middle East and boasts unique large herds of mixed species of African animals.
Also, at the entrance we received a map of the Safari, and when asked for one more (we visited as a couple) we got told that it’s only one map per group. On a positive note: once you finish the ride and arrive to the zoo part of the Safari, you can get around freely and explore the zoo by foot.
