Santiago Rodriguez (born February 16, 1952) is a Cuban-American pianist. Rodriguez is an exclusive recording artist for Élan Recordings . [1] His Rachmaninov recordings received the Rosette award in The Penguin Guide to Recorded Classical Music and he is a silver medalist in the Van Cliburn International Piano Competition .
Biography Santiago Rodriguez is the highly acclaimed Professor and Chair of the Keyboard Performance department at the Frost School of Music. Professor Rodriguez has been hailed as “a phenomenal pianist” by The New York Times and singled out as “among the finest pianists in the world” (according to The Baltimore Sun).
