Frost replaces Mike Riley, who dismissed after three underwhelming seasons in Lincoln last month. Frost will officially be introduced at a 1 p.m. press conference Sunday afternoon.
Scott Frost left Nebraska as the first quarterback in school history to rush for more than 1,000 yards and pass for more than 1,000 yards in the same season. Frost became the 10th player in NCAA history to accomplish the feat in 1997, as he helped lead the high-octane Husker attack to the national title.

May 31, 2018 · Scott Frost has been the head coach at Nebraska for months now but he just put pen to paper on his massive new contract. According to documents from the school sent to the Omaha World-Herald, Frost’s contract was made official on May 22 after he was previously working under a memorandum of understanding since being hired in early December.
