    Coroner

As if the incident with the dead man wasn't weird enough, the coroner goes on to learn about Dante closing the story for a hockey game and to go to a wake. Finally, she just has to question...

    Randal

One of the things that thrilled audiences about the movie was how the characters talked like they talk with their friends. Customer With Diapers

Though there are some surprisingly sweet moments in all the Clerksmovies, Smith seems to especially relish the vulgar humor in these movies. And while some of the discussions get fairly graphic, they also make for some of the funniest moments. In a moment that highlights Dante's insecurity and immaturity, he gets upset when he learns of his girlfriend's past sex life. In disbelief, he tells a random customer that she performed a particular sex act with 37 men to which the impressed customer a...

    Randal

Clerks may have grown into its own franchise but it is easy to forget just how influential of an indie movie it was when it came out. It showed aspiring filmmakers that they could make small, micro-budget movies that didn't need to tell grand stories to be good. The final line of the movie speaks to this as it simply ends with Dante closing up the store for the night. While Smith's original ending was shockingly different, this is much more fitting to end it without any huge moments but rathe...
