Jun 27, 2018 · Souls of Totality is a clever and moving little story with a well-earned twist, Raymond proving himself a smart storyteller well worth keeping eyes open for. At just about 17 minutes long, it’s a challenging film that stokes many of the more natural questions one might have about cults while giving it a bit of a flip by the time it ends.
Sep 23, 2018 · WITH the finale scene filmed during the 'Great American Eclipse', Richard Raymond's short film Souls Of Totality is a cinematic spectacle to behold. Yet this is a piece of filmmaking that does not solely rely on its awe-inspiring 5-minute single-take climax.
Masterful short that captured the eclipse insanely well. Recently revisited this after having seen in in 2018 at Tribeca, and it was just as impressive this second go around as the first. A great case study in short film making. A love story set during the Great American Eclipse.
