A couple learns that the wife is terminal with 6 months left, to help with medical expenses the husband tries getting fund's to help pay but faces closing doors each time. He then decides to rob a bank and recruits three buddies. While this has been done before in the past this movie uses comedy bits to lighten the climax.

Walter (John Heard) has his back against the wall when his wife Rose (Cindy Williams) develops throat cancer. With no money to pay for medical treatments, he decides to rob a bank. Walter carefully prepares for the heist - getaway car, masks and weapons - and studies the property. When he and Rose are fired by their only client, Rose decides to become a partner in the bank robbery. Meanwhile ...
