- City Of Lost Souls, The Even by Takashi Miike's standards, this is a delightfully deranged film, chock-full of the oddest set-pieces: Matrix-style cockfights, improbable stunts and gladiatorial ping-pong. The plot is convoluted and mainly serves to move us from one bit of visual trickery to another.

Takashi Miike's City of Lost Souls (also known as Hazard City, 2000) is very different due to its multi nation cast which includes Russians, Chinese, Japanese, Portuguese and some others.
