Aliens visit the solar-powered house of a middle-class family, and the house is suddenly sucked into a time warp that takes it to a planet with prehistoric looking creatures, a Bermuda Triangle dumping ground and finally to another planet 200 light years from earth in a triple star system inhabited by an advanced civilization.
Turns out a triple supernova that exploded 200 years ago has opened a rift in time and space. Soon, giant alien monsters start invading the house, many of them with the intent to kill the family. Meanwhile, Richard (Christopher Mitchum) tries to make his way back to the house after hearing the reports of the supernova.
