On December 17, 2010, it was announced that MPI Home Video had acquired the rights to release seasons 4 and 5 of The Donna Reed Show. Season 4 was subsequently released on December 20, 2011, and Season 5 was released on December 4, 2012. On September 30, 2014, MPI Home Video re-released the first season on DVD.
