    • The History of the Oregon Trail & the Pony Express. This is much more documentary like but the pictures, maps, and narration is educational and has quite a bit of background information.
    • Sacagawea. Out of all the movies, I think this was one of our favorites. It was narrated by “Sacagawea” but it was more movie like than documentary.
    • Ghost Town and America’s Historic Inns. This one talks about how the the great California gold rush impacted American history. It has nice older black and white pictures along with views of the modern places pioneers panned and mined.
    • The Wild West Uncovered. This is a cool documentary about Virginia City after people flocked there and it flourished. I loved seeing all the old pictures, the way they lived, and the history.
