The Real Miyagi (2015) is a wonderful documentary by Kevin Derek about the life of one of the greatest karate masters of all times. This documentary exquisitely reflects the highlights of the life of Fumio Demura from his beginnings to the present time.
This is a five-star story trapped in a two-star review about a guy whose contributions I still don’t fully quite get even after watching it. I mean, Fumio Demura sounds like he’s got a helluva tale, and working his way up to Hollywood and global fame is quite the thing!
