Freeing a girl from her kidnapper, Iljimae goes over memories of his lost love who was put to death. Wol Hee is deeply hurt by the way Iljimae starts treating her after he looks into his own life and behavior.
Return of Iljimae. In a world of government corruption and injustice, a baby is abandoned by his nobleman father for being the son of a servant. Raised in China, the forsaken son returns to Korea as an adult to seek out his birth family — where he becomes a hero of the people by deciding to fight against the ruling class.
