"The Shape of Water" seems to be a polarizing movie, as many weird movies are. I thought it was a beautifully filmed fairy tale with (mostly) engaging characters. The biggest problem I had with it was that not enough time was spent establishing "Amphibian Man" with a personality or any more intelligence than, say, Koko the gorilla.
