Kiel University awards short-term grants (1 to 6 months) to students to complete theses (Bachelor-, Master degree, State Examination or Diploma) for all subjects of study and to all host institutions outside the geographical scope of ERASMUS+ (i.e. EU countries, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Northern Macedonia, Norway, Serbia, Turkey).

Jul 23, 2023 · We wish to inform you that a planned structural reorganization of the scholarship program at Kiel University (CAU) is underway. After careful consideration of various factors and current circumstances, it has been decided to suspend the Deutschlandstipendium for the 2024/2025 application period.
Scholarships of €300 per month are awarded for a period limited to two semesters. Applications are received from individuals who meet the admission requirements for their degree programme and are either about to start their course or are already registered at Kiel University.
