If your battery is swollen, take appropriate precautions. For your safety, discharge your battery below 25% before disassembling your watch.
The battery differs drastically between models. Larger 44 mm models get a slight ~1.4% boost in battery capacity over the Series 4, but the smaller 40 mm Series 5 gets a radical new battery design and a 10% boost in capacity.
