Let me state what I like about lion king. I like dark themes as Scar killing his brother, them philosophing about death, Ziras abuse, Simbas PTSD.

I imagine this was hugely impactful to the children who did watch the show. This might have been the first time they saw plot lines that spanned multiple episodes instead of being done in one. And they were well paced too, spread out enough that you could follow the story line without being lost, but consistent enough that new developments ...
Here comes the Lion Guard: The lyrics and rhythm are really good, The animation is the most notably different. 8/10. In summary: Characters: 7/10. Most of the characters show some learning or development during the movie, The voices and animation are pretty good. Story: 10/10.
