Weston-super-Mare has everything you’d expect from an archetypal Victorian English seaside resort, including a pier, a promenade, donkey rides, fish and chips shops, amusements galore and a vast stretch of fine golden sand.
Weston-super-Mare has an all-year-round safe swimming beach at Marine Lake which is protected from the tide and currents by a sea wall. The town also has its own lifeboat station and crew as well as a team of beach rangers.
