- Llano. Located in the Hill Country, Llano is the seat of Llano county. It was established in 1856 as a frontier trading center.
- Waxahachie. Located in North Texas, Waxahachie is known for its captivating buildings in its downtown area. One of which is the Ellis County Courthouse built in 1895.

Founded in 1846 by Prince Frederick of Prussia, it is the sister city of Montabaur, Germany, and much of the quaint town shows strong German influences. Since 1970, the district has featured on the National Register of Historic Places in Texas.
