According to the package author, this driver adds full DirectX 8.1 compatibility and supports Direct3D, OpenGL, and Glide based video games. Latest public release of the 3dfx Wide driver that adds extended resolutions as well as higher refresh rates with Glide and OpenGL videogames for Voodoo4 and Voodoo5 graphics cards.
