     So I finally figured it out.

     The “infohash” is the SHA1 Hash over the part of a torrent file that includes:

     • ITEM: length(size) and path (path with filename)
     • Name: The name to search for
     • Piece length: The length(size) of a single piece
     • Pieces: SHA1 Hash of EVERY piece of this torrent
     • Private: flag for restricted access

     To show this a little more I took a random torrent file and used the “BEncode Editor” from Ultima to make it more clearly to me.

     As you can see the the red box marked the information part of the torrent file. The torrent file includes not the Hash of the items, but the hashes of every piece.

     • For item1 with: 1069496548
     • and item2 with: 223
     • It is together: 1069496771
     • With a piece size of: 524288
     • There are 2040 pieces. (1069496771/524288=2039.9032 approximately)
     • The pieces section includes 40800 byte of data what are 81600 + 2 chars in the file.
     • the +2 because 0x marks that this is hexadecimal.
     • A SHA1 hash has 40 0x chars or 20 Byte of data what are 2040 SHA1 hashes.

     I am sorry that this information is about a torrent that leads to a illegal movie, but i wanted to use a torrent that realy exists.

     If you want the easiest way, then you just execute the cat /some/file/here command instead of bash and sending the output to a file on your local machine. Then remove the initial aws cli message from the beginning of the local file, such as:

     The Session Manager plugin was installed successfully. Use the AWS CLI to start a session.--Starting session with SessionId: ecs-execute-command-<some session id>This session is encrypted using AWS KMS.

     If it's a binary file, then save it as a txt file, remove the initial cli output mentioned above, and rename it with the binary extension. Example:

     aws ecs execute-command --region <your region> --cluster <your cluster> --task <your task ID> --container <your container> --command "cat /tmp/reportBatch.zip" --interactive >> ~/reportBatch.txt-

     For this method, you only need access to your ECS instance and be allowed to run commands on it.

     Eric Gontier's solution works great for Swashbuckle 4 and NSwag 12. If you've upgraded to swashbuckle 5 and thus OpenApi 3 and NSwag 13, then the solution is different. Instead you'll need a custom operation filter, and an reusable attribute to indicate the content-type result:

     After a exploring more than a month, with a help of my friend, we were able to find out the following.

     The website where the file is hosted is not allowing us to download the file using window.location = url; or window.open(url);

     Finally we had to use the data-downloadurl support from HTML5 as follows

     <a href="<url-goes-here>" data-downloadurl="audio/mpeg:<filename-goes-here>:<url-goes-here>" download="<filename-goes-here>">Click here to download the file</a>

     We embed this html into the host html and when clicked on the link, it triggers the download.

     UPDATE:

     It is recommended to use active modules. My personal preference is got Please refer got streams for examples.Another alternative is node-fetch

     Easiest way is to use request module

     Here you are trying to store entire result in memory and console log it. 5GB is pretty much large, either you must increase Node.js memory limit (not recommended) or you must use streams. See the streaming example below from request npm documentation:

     You must pipe the response, so that whether is 1MB or 1GB or 1TB, only a fraction of the file will be in memory and it will be written to disk as soon as possible. You can use the same approach using Node.js built in functions, but implementation will be difficult and be like re-inventing the wheel when request module is there.

     For download with progress you can use request-progress module along with request module, see the example below (taken from their documentation):
