An audiobook version is also available from Orion Audio, read by Russell and with guest appearances from various contributors including Rick Rubin, Giggs and the late Keith Flint.
Russell started XL in 1989 to put out 12-inch vinyl singles for rave DJs. The Prodigy was one of the first groups released by the label. In the decade after the electronica fad passed, XL diversified.
