Monticello is known as a tourist destination in north-central Indiana and is home to the Indiana Beach amusement park on Lake Shafer, and Lake Freeman.

- Happiness667042. 2 contributions. Fun Times. Had a great time at Indiana Beach Amusement Park with my grandsons and daughter. Rides were closed or opened later but most of the little guy things were online.

- nanatbrdg. Fortville, IN 107 contributions. They let you be the captain! We rented a small pontoon for 4 hours, and boy did it go fast! There were 6 of us, a 9-month-old, a 3-year-old, mom and dad, and Grandpa and Grandma, and every one of us had a great time.
